Stacy Busek

Stacy is Head of People, Culture, and Wellbeing and DEI Lead at MOTAT.

With over twenty years in HR and experience leading significant culture change in organisations, Stacy is passionate about ensuring that people can be themselves at work. Developing work environments that allow people to bring their best selves to work and are supportive when that isn’t possible, foster growth and development, and treat people equitably is key to a great work experience.

We spend around a third of our lives at work. That time should complement the rest of our human experience, not hinder it, and the onus is on all to make sure that happens

Outside of work Stacy is on her te reo Māori me ngā tikanga Māori learning journey, currently studying at Level 5 with Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi, and spends as much time travelling as time and budget allows.
