Michelle Huang (she/her) is the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) lead at Westpac New Zealand. In this role, she helps manage Westpac's kaupapa Māori programmes and supports Westpac's Employee Action Groups (EAGs) in driving initiatives that foster a deep sense of belonging, inclusion, and community at Westpac. Additionally, she oversees the Westpac High School Graduates' programme, which was reviewed and redesigned in 2023 in collaboration with current and former high school graduates — rangatahi Māori and Pasifika who have participated in the programme. The initiative aims to increase the representation of Māori and Pasifika in the financial sector and invest in our communities.
